A little bit about why I'm running as a candidate in "Insert here" election....

Protection and enhancement of our local communities to create safer environments for the people that live in this electorate.

Protection for our environment is also a core value in which I advocate for.

I'm running because I feel our community has ideas that need to be heard, and we need to listen to our electorate.

I am a member of BirdLife Australia.

Policies

  • The Policies I stand for are:

  • Addressing cost of living issues by advocating for more support for those in need. 

  • Protecting urban bushland and fixing outdated environmental laws.

    Incentives for homes and businesses to have solar and battery storage, which includes incentives for landlords to install solar on rental properties.

    Incentives for landlords to make their rental properties more sustainable, including mandatory insulation for homes that don't have it.

    Medium to high density living in areas that adhere to a local government structure plan.

    • WA government to look into recycling aluminium cans in WA, all our aluminium containers are currently shipped overseas.

    More Western Australian made, owned and produced products to be available at restaurants and venues in WA. 

  • Look into ways to solve the homelessness problem, incentives for housing developments to create public housing.

    Introducing a system that requires trees over a certain height to be retained, and only a qualified arborist can work on them.

  • WA State government meetings to be live streamed and recorded on YouTube for all people to access.

    More conservation efforts for the protection of Black Cockatoos.

    Banning rat poisons that kill our native owls and raptors.

    Investigation into our water supply and mandating strict water supply allocations for big businesses (Coke etc)

    More bike paths to be planned and fixed where they are deemed unsafe, (Reid Hwy, Beach Rd, Erindale Rd etc)

    Advocating for cat enclosures, and keeping pets on their owners properties.

    Protection for the remaining Little Penguins on Penguin Island.

    More conservation efforts for all bird life and all animals in our local environment
